Kudzu "Sprouts" is for children ages 3 to 9 years old.
The shows are performed in the morning and are always about one hour long with no intermission. There are no "blackouts" and many shows include fun audience participation. It's a great way for younger children to discover the joy and fun of live theatre!
 

The Emperor's New Clothes

One of our all-time favorites, The Emperor's New Clothes is packed with action, laughs, tricks and well-integrated audience participation! Lots of fun is in store when Peter, the mischievous tailor, comes up with his sure-fire get rich quick scheme to embarrass the vain Emperor and make off with a basket of gold.

 

Aladdin

In a far off land, a foolish boy challenges a magician, a powerful sultan and wins the favor of a princess. Audiences will participate in this play, delighting in the comedy and excitement of this classic legend as Aladdin performs magnificent feats with the help of the genie and the magic lamp.

 
The Town Mouse and the Country Mouse

October 2, 2008 - October 25, 2008

A country mouse, bored with rural life at home is visited by his city cousin and learns that he has been invited to the big city. Joyfully, the two depart and runs a gauntlet of adventures -- among them a dangerous cat, poisons, traps, the wiles of two tricky twin mice. At last, a wiser country mouse returns home, grateful to settle down in his rural paradise.

Chris has the worst temper of any child you have ever seen. All Chris thinks about is “Chris”. She is selfish and spoiled and thinks nothing of having temper tantrums. On Christmas Eve she meets four mysterious strangers who help to change her life.
